Membrane materials are an emerging building material and have been recognized as the "sixth building material" after brick, stone, concrete, steel and wood.
Transmittance is one of the most widely recognized properties of film materials, and the light transmission of the film provides the desired brightness. The flexibility of the membrane allows it to carry the pressure in the most favorable shape under any load.
At present, the widely accepted standards for architectural membranes are three types: PTFE membranes coated with glass fiber fabrics, PVC membranes coated with glass fiber fabrics, and PVDF membranes coated with polyester (polyester) fabrics. Most of the products used are PVDF membranes.
